A Machine to Unmake You

Collaborating on a speculative ad campaign.

In an artist-led co-design process, a group of incarcerated veterans chose to advocate for funding for post-military support services. Photographs made by and with their subjects confront stereotypes about their dual identities, while silhouetted voids visualize alternate outcomes and possibilities.
